The Photographer’s House

Families and couples will find The Photographer's House works well for a coastal break: two bedrooms, one bathroom, and room for four. The maisonette sits a short walk from the beach in Southwold, with the town's shops, cafés and pubs within easy reach. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand if you need them, and one dog can stay for free. Wi-Fi, heating and bed linen are all included.

Downstairs has a living room with Freeview Smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with everything you need to cook—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. The bathroom includes a bath with shower and a heated towel rail. Upstairs, there's a king bed in one bedroom and two singles in the other, both with Smart TVs. A large raised deck opens from the property, though note there are steep, narrow stairs between floors. On-road parking is available locally (charges apply). No smoking is permitted inside.

Southwold itself has independent grocers, bakers and butchers if you want to self-cater, plus a pier and lighthouse as landmarks. The RSPB Minsmere nature reserve is roughly 25 minutes' drive away. A Tesco Express is nearby for quick supplies.
