About Osborne Aparthotel
Osborne Aparthotel is built around a simple idea: proper kitchens in every apartment, so guests can cook their own meals rather than rely on room service. The rooms are generously sized, with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms, and some offer city views. Air conditioning, drinks in the room and 24 hour reception are all part of the package, and a lift makes access straightforward throughout the building.
The apartments suit families and longer stays alike, with family rooms and accessible rooms available, plus free WiFi throughout and outdoor seating for enjoying the Eastbourne air. Pets are welcome, and staff are on hand around the clock if anything is needed. Parking is chargeable and found nearby rather than on site, which is worth planning for in advance.
Carlisle Road puts guests within easy reach of Eastbourne's seafront, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, and golf, fishing, cycling and walking all on the doorstep for anyone wanting to fill their days. It's a straightforward, well-run base for exploring the town at your own pace.
What guests say
Couldn't ask for the more surprising find. Just about everything about our stay was top notch. Location is 2nd to none in Eastbourne. The property of located close to the center AND the beach in the other direction. Close to the circular, so transport is a breeze. The apartment we stayed in was clean and lacked nothing. A minor issue was that the USB connections didn't work but we could recharge our handsets the next day when we got back on the road in our car. Parking is a challenge, but with the tennis championships on this past weekend, it was expected. The staff at Osbourne was VERY pleasant and communication was great. All-in-all, a great place to use as a base, or to rest your head for the night as part of a journey through East Essex. We will certainly stay there again if in the area. Great stuff, keep up the great work.

We stayed in room 313 . It was spottlessy clean . Full air-conditioning which was fantastic as the weather was very hot . It had a fabulous walk in shower and a small kitchen . Beautifully tiled throughout. We come to Eastbourne every year from Hertfordshire and have stayed at many local hotels and this was by far the best 👌 The manager Sree and assistant Tejas were amazing. Soo friendly helpful and were at the front in a second to take a our bags for us . Thank you guys for a wonderful stay 😁 See you next year Suzy & Paul

In general, it’s a good place to stay and a great location, close to everything and near the sea. The rooms had air conditioning. The size of the rooms was a bit disappointing, but you don't really need more than that. The towels and sheets were clean, but the room itself was just neat, not super clean. I was wearing white socks and after walking around the room for just two minutes, they were black. The service is only good as long as you don't have a problem. We arrived by train from Calais, which had several hours of delay, causing us to arrive very late. We called the reception to inform them that we would arrive during the night. The person on the phone couldn't give us any guarantee that we would even be able to get in, but he was very quick to charge an extra fee of £50. When we asked if we could check in at a specific time, he constantly had to consult with someone else and couldn't give any guarantees. Eventually, I asked if we could cancel that night so we could book another hotel to be sure we had a place to sleep. He replied that this wasn't possible and told us to contact Booking.com. He was absolutely not helpful at all during a case of force majeure and only cared about asking for extra money. After arguing for more than an hour, we finally agreed that someone would be there at a set time to check us in. When we arrived, there was no light or sign of life anywhere. We had to call the hotel and ring the doorbell for over 15 minutes before anyone opened. Before even saying hello or wishing us a good evening, the guy immediately shoved the bill under our nose, demanding we pay right away. On top of that, the extra late check-in fee had to be paid separately. Be aware that any extras, like new towels or fresh sheets, cost a lot of extra money per time. All extras are incredibly expensive. When we walked in, the entire hotel smelled strongly of heavily spiced food and didn't feel very fresh. Once inside the room, everything went smoothly and the rest of the stay was good. It’s a nice location, provided you don't mind strong smells in the hallways, don't mind walking on dirty floors, and don't experience any issues or unusual arrival times.

We booked Osborne Apart Hotel as part of our group attending the Bible on the Beach conference, and it was recommended by other group members. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, I was unsure what to expect and slightly worried. However, on arrival we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by very friendly reception staff, who were helpful with all our requests throughout the stay. We asked for a ground floor room due to travelling with pram, and this was arranged without any issues. Ground floor room didn’t have any views though. The apartment itself was spacious enough for a family of four with a well-equipped kitchen and everything needed for a short stay. The location was also excellent (quiter&nicer part of eastbourne), only about a five-minute walk to both the beach and the conference venue. The only minor downsides were that the cleanliness could be improved and the price felt slightly on highEr end.
