Eastbourne's Marine Parade runs along the seafront close to the pier, with Seven Sisters Country Park a short distance further along the coast, and it's here that OYO Marine Parade Hotel occupies a spot right on the front. With 29 rooms, the hotel is small enough to feel manageable, and many rooms come with sea views over the Channel, which guests consistently pick out as the highlight of staying here.
Rooms have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and the option of drinks brought to your room, though some rooms are on the compact side, and a few visitors have reported a sewage smell in the bathrooms, worth bearing in mind. There's a restaurant and bar on site, along with a lift, free WiFi, and function space for weddings.
Beyond the hotel, the area around Marine Parade has plenty to fill a stay: pubs, restaurants and cafés nearby, watersports and fishing along the coast, golf and cycling routes inland, and walking country stretching towards the Seven Sisters. It's a straightforward seafront base for exploring Eastbourne on foot or venturing further along the coastline.

Stayed here just for the night, for not a lot of money! Great location with a good pub on the doorstep and surrounded by eateries. Very basic rooms, got our monies worth, it was clean and the bed was comfy. Met by a very friendly chap who showed me to my room. I would stay here again for short stays.

The room where we were in was clean with sea view. Not large, but you can move freely. The toilet was totaly new and clean. The TV had plenty of channels. The bed and pillows were okay. Just few steps to town centre. The receptionist Mr. Ahmed was helpful and cooperative.

Really good location opposite the beach and 5 min walk to the pier. The room was modernised and very spacious. Bathroom had a huge corner shower with waterfall shower head. There was a bar but wasnt stocked and no complimentary breakfast.... but never asked for it as local cafes and bars are minutes away. All in all a great little hotel for the price and would stay there again when we're around the area.

Terrible place to stay. Location was good, everything else was awful. The guy who checked us in told us we had to give a £50 cash deposit on the spot. So we did then when it came to check out, he was nowhere to be seen. Speaking to other guests, nobody else had to give this deposit so the man clearly scammed us out of our money. The bathroom had used toilet paper on the seat, toothpaste and soap scum all around the sink. There was no hot water. Definitely would not stay here again! Do not recommend. I'm not impressed!
