A historic pub hotel on Eastbourne's High Street, with generous Sunday roasts and en-suite rooms above a well-kept bar.
About The Lamb Inn
Generous Sunday roasts and a well-stocked bar set the tone at The Lamb Inn, a traditional pub hotel on the High Street in central Eastbourne. Housed in an old building full of character, it combines a proper pub atmosphere with clean, well-maintained rooms upstairs, giving guests a stay that feels rooted in the town rather than tucked away in a chain hotel.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family accommodation, along with drinks available in room and free WiFi throughout. Breakfast is served on site, and the 24 hour reception means arrivals are never a problem. Downstairs, the bar is the heart of the place, known for hearty food including burgers and those popular Sunday roasts, backed by a good range of beers and staff who keep things running smoothly and warmly.
The location on the High Street puts guests close to the seafront and within reach of the South Downs National Park, with walking and cycling routes nearby for those wanting to explore further afield. Golf, fishing and watersports are all within reach too, and the surrounding streets offer further pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out.

What guests say
Lovely stay at The Lamb Inn. The service is fantastic and so friendly. The room was as expected and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was scrummy as was the dinner we had on our first night. We had the steak pie which was crammed with beef followed by a delicious apple and cinnamon crumble, were glad of the stairs to walk it off a bit! We would definitely return.

Completing the Harveys Hop and this pub is a real beauty. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the ale and food first class. So glad this pub exists. Highly recommended.

Used to be the greatest pub. Now it looks tired and in need of a good clean. Even when food is being served the smell in the bar is odd. The carpets are black and sticky The real fireplace of old is gone Nothing feels clean or cared for. In desperate need of a cash injection to bring it back before it's too late

A very apt name - I feel that I was fleeced. £18 for a catering burger bun, the worst vegetarian burger I have ever tasted. McDonald’s mcplant would have had better quality ingredients and tasted much better. For the price of the meals I expected so much more, the pub is nice but when you feel that an establishment has taken advantage of you the environment does not matter. Their chef should be appalled at letting such low quality food leave their kitchen under their watch, I assume they do not have any qualifications and if a big if they do then you really should look at yourself in the mirror when a customer of your food feels that McDonald’s would offer better ingredients, better presentation and pride in their serving. Very, very poor you should be ashamed
