About Bramley Park Camping
At the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park, Bramley Park Camping delivers what its 4.7-star rating promises: spacious, flat pitches with cracking views over green downland vistas, consistently clean facilities with hot showers, and owners who've clearly learned from their travels. The relaxed, nature-first ethos means you choose your own pitch, solar lights keep skies dark, and the protected woodland around you hums with wildlife. Four-legged friends are welcome year-round.
Weekend wood-fired pizzas and breakfast rolls earn high praise, and the on-site shop covers camping essentials. Some might find the wild camping vibe a touch basic if they're after manicured luxury, but that's rather the point. The famed Seven Sisters walk is a 10-minute drive, while Eastbourne, Bexhill and a string of quieter beaches—Pevensey Bay, Birling Gap, Cuckmere Haven—all lie within 20 minutes. Brighton's 45 minutes away, and the South Downs Way joins footpaths two miles from site, with Friston Forest's cycle trails five miles off.

What visitors say
We stayed at Bramley Park Camping from Friday evening through to Sunday morning and had such a fantastic experience that we’re already planning our next visit. The pitches are wonderfully flat, spacious, and there are no restrictive size limits, which made setting up stress-free. The views across the South Downs are absolutely stunning and provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend away. The site is incredibly dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us, and the staff genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Lucy and Tom were particularly outstanding - friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The facilities were excellent. The shower blocks were clean, with great water pressure and consistent hot water - something that isn’t always guaranteed when camping! The onsite shop was brilliantly stocked with both essentials and those little items you inevitably forget to pack. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The onsite pizzas were absolutely superb and well worth trying. We were also delighted by the range of drinks available, including beers from Long Man Brewery. The NEIPA was particularly delicious and went down perfectly while enjoying the evening views. The location is ideal. Not only is it perfectly placed for exploring the South Downs and Eastbourne, but Brighton and Hastings are both within easy reach, making it a fantastic base for exploring the wider area. Bramley Park Camping has struck that rare balance between excellent facilities, a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and genuinely welcoming staff. We will definitely be returning again and again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a camping getaway in Sussex.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. This is a lovely place to relax and unwind. We arrived quite late in the evening without a prior booking, but we were welcomed straight away and advised to order pizza because the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes. We did — and the pizza was delicious. There is also a great selection of beer. The campsite is spacious and comfortable even when there are many visitors. You can also buy firewood, and it comes with a fire pit/container, which was a very nice touch. The location is very convenient and close to many interesting places. We stayed here so we could peacefully explore the Seven Sisters cliffs the next day. I especially want to mention the exceptionally warm and friendly communication during check-in, as well as the food stall staff. Such genuinely lovely young people. Highly recommended ❤️

We really enjoy camping at Bramley park, we have made it a tradition and come every year! The location is great for walks and the beach, and there’s such great views from the campsite. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The toilets/showers are relatively clean and the pizza is amazing!! We love that that you choose where to pitch your tent and that you can park right next to your tent. Thanks Harry and team for keeping camping simple but nice :)

I love this site. First of all , the location is perfect. Close to the coast and right on the edge of the South Downs with so many beautiful villages nearby. The site is flat and surrounded on all sides withe trees and plenty of space for the kids to play. The toilets and showers are lovely and kept clean there is also a washing up area. The staff / owners have been friendly and very helpful throughout. Thank you to them for making this happen. This is my idea of the perfect campsite.
