What visitors say
While visiting friends in Stafford we booked a couple of games bowling at Tenpin over the Easter weekend. As well as bowling you can also do Karaoke, Laser Tag, Soft Play, Escape Rooms Arcades & Pool. Please check their website as some of the experiences need to be booked and paid for in advance. On arrival the checking in at the reception went smoothly and in no time we were on a lane bowling. The place was very busy but everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves and the staff were working hard keeping the venue clean and tidy. If you drive make sure on arrival you enter your car registration on the keypad or you will end up getting a fine!

We came for my son's birthday today. It was a total disaster. Both of the lanes we had kept breaking down, so the kids only managed to get through 1 game in 1.5 hours. Each time the lanes broke down it was taking between 5-15 mins to get it sorted. Several of us spoke to what we assume was the manager on duty a man with brown hair and glasses. When I spoke to him I said how bad our experience was and he didn't apologise tried to offer the kids to go in the soft play after food which would be 15 mins time and to just bowl until food comes.... Well the food came and the lanes were still broken for us and as we only had 30 mins left we chose to rush the kids eating so they could go in the soft play. This was facilitated by another young lady, possibly also a manager. She did apologise and sorted it out but we still feel like we didn't get the party our son deserved as we still had to do the cake and gifts in the 30 mins we had for the soft play before parents were picking up their children. Some other points, the manager bloke said to one of the mums that he didn't know about the issues with the lanes even though I had just spoken to him 5-10 mins before and several people spotted the same manager put having a smoke several times outside the front of the building during our two hours there. I really don't see how a manager has the time to smoke when the business is as busy as it was this morning and with the issues we were facing. I am only giving this a 2stars instead of a one because my son still had fun but he said it was just so annoying that the lanes kept breaking and it was only ours that had issues

This review is mainly for the remarkable attitude and approach staff had on a couple of occasions. Once I forgot to put the registration in and had a parking ticket come through. I rang in and a lovely female staff put me at ease instantly, her clear, yet reassuring customer service guidance, together with her manager, Carl, who provided the necessary support exemplary. It really made the whole panicking experience, into one of gratitude. Thank you both (apologies I cant remember the lady's name), it really made a difference and cemented my believe in great people and great services. Nobody likes to get those fines and I will make sure to put the reg in, usually my friend does it. Another time, I paid to play for an hour, but we had to leave 10min in last minute reasons. We were still in the car park when the manager Carl came to ask if we were ok and, when we said yes, he offered us a free hour to go back anytime. We were very pleasantly surprised and accepted, of course. 😊 Who pays attention to that level these days?! Obviously, Carl! Thank you very much! 🙏 I come here to play pool sometimes, pretty straight forward to book and enjoy the game. It works a treat for us. 👌🙌
