About The Mansefield Hotel
The Mansefield Hotel is a smart, recently refurbished property close to Elgin's town centre, offering fifteen individually styled rooms with modern touches including flat-screen televisions, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. Its position just off Mayne Road makes it a convenient base for exploring the cathedral, museum and High Street on foot.
The on-site Mansefield Restaurant has built a reputation for its use of local seafood and prime Aberdeen Angus beef, served in a bright dining room alongside a more traditional bar menu, and the hotel's bar stocks a solid range of Speyside malts reflecting its whisky-country setting.
Free parking and Wi-Fi are provided throughout, and the hotel's compact size means a more personal level of service than some of the town's larger properties, making it a good option for couples or those visiting for a distillery-focused break.
What guests say
Our room was nice however the carpets were a bit tired and the tv signal kinda worked. As we looked over the road we had to have the windows closed and it was a bit too warm We were there for a wedding and found the lady running the wedding was more policing the wedding. This was felt by the many of rhe guests. The rest of rhe staff were friendly. For coffee etc. At the wedding if you werent sitting down you didn't get. Food was ok ,main meal was bellow a Witherspoon level, beef was a thick wedge with the fat still on it and a definite lack of veg , the sticky toffee pudding was a bit dry. The stovies later on were the best bit of the food. A wee edit ,when this place doesn't get the reviews they like they reply with some untrooths to try and discredit others. My review is based on what i seen ,what i witneseed and how they made me feel ,i understand this isn't always what places like to hear however i hope they learn from it and how to grow as an establishment for the better.

Had a meal in the restaurant over the weekend, cocktails were great, food was lovely and the staff were fantastic! It was my wife's birthday and the staff gave us a candle on her desert to celebrate it. Delighted they also gave us a little surprise on the bill which was appreciated very much! Overall great time and recommend the restaurant highly! Did not stay in a room so cannot comment on that side of the experience. Picture of the French Martini & Peach Bellieni we had when we first arrived in the bar area.

My third stay for business and my number one choice for the area. The whole hotel is noticeably very clean, and when you stay in many hotels then this one sticks out as being spotless. The bedrooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable. The staff offer a great service and no request is an inconvenience. The night porter is fantastic (and hilarious). Very well stocked whisky bar. Great breakfast including gluten free options for me. We've hosted a business conference here in the past and the setting and service was brilliant, so would also recommend this service. (Some Scottish GF beer would be my only recommendation, especially now there are so many that everyone can drink)😉

I stayed overnight for a busy trip. Loved how warm the rooms were(I'm always cold) very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were absolutely lovely too, the reception girl and the bar girl couldn't be more helpful and very smiley 😊. The breakfast was a nice touch too with a great service too. Thank you
