So disappointing to book, get charged then drive 130 miles to not be let into the site. Was not given access code prior. Repeatedly called both numbers listed whilst waiting on gate but no answer. Once we finally found another site over 10 miles away, we had a call from owner who was polite and had gone away leaving others in charge. Was very apologetic and offered a free night. However, it was a one off visit for us to go see the aquaduct so extremely unlikely we would ever return again. Just disappointing service and shame as looks lovely on the website.

Stayed a couple of nights for the Shropshire triathlon. The site is in a great location with a beautiful view and it's only a 5 minute cycle ride/20 minute walk from Ellesmere. The shower & toilet blocks are clean and well looked after. Robin, the owner is friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely fabulous site, spotless, facilities were up there with some of the best I have ever seen on a site, so refreshing to be able to go to the loo, clean your teeth and have a shower all in one room rather that flitting from one cubicle to another. Owner very helpful and provided us with some bricks as the Jack's were a bit short once we were up on the ramps and we saw him helping various other visitors with different things. The views were amazing too, little bit of road noise during the day but hardly heard it at night. Would definitely return.
