What guests say
Meal (lunch) only, party of four. We were met well, waiting staff were pleasant and obliging. Decent choice of pub grub with a couple of pleasant surprises. Food felt cooked to order and very tasty. Reasonably priced. A very pleasant experience, would be happy to go back.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked through the door! We were greeted warmly and given all the information we could need for our stay. Our room was immaculately clean, our room thoughtfully designed and decorated, and the bed so incredibly comfortable - large and long enough for 2 tall adults, with soft comfortable bedding and pillows. There were heavy curtains for a wonderful sleep in, a kettle, and well stocked tea/coffee supplies. The bathroom was clean, the shower pressure great, and there was nicely scented shampoo/body wash available. There was 3 car parks, with one dedicated for staying guests that was around the back with a private guest entrance/exit door so our car and belongings felt safe, and there was always plenty of spaces even when the restaurant was busy. The Newburgh seal beach is just a short walk from the Inn and it was such a delight to see the seals and ducks on the beautiful beach. The breakfast was great with a main dish of your choice, tea/coffee, and juice all for just £10.95 each. We had the full breakfast each which was truly huge! We enjoyed the dinner at the inn on 2 nights as well, the first night my partner had the chicken fajitas which smelled and tasted amazing, and I had the classic steak pie which was divine. The portion sizes were perfect. The second night we had the burgers, one chilli Brie chicken burger and one blue and black burger - best burger I’ve ever had! One of the staff members was very generous with his time and showcased his passion for the many great whisky brands on offer, guiding my partner of the best way to enjoy the complex flavours and explaining the different areas in Scotland they were produced. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating and we felt very at home our whole stay. I truly cannot recommend this place enough, we are so glad we booked for multiple nights and wish we could have stayed even longer. They have really set the bar high here!

Really good food and excellent service! We didn't stay at the hotel, just stop by to eat. The staff are incredibly kind and very prompt. You absolutely cannot leave without trying their house dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is fantastic! Highly recommend this place!

Visited the Inn to use the restaurant for a family birthday lunch. We hadn't been before but it was ideally located for after our walk on the dunes/beach. We were a party of 6, including children. The menu was extensive, covering different cuisines and there was something for everyone's tastes. It was a hard decision choosing what to have! The staff were friendly throughout our visit. The barman made my daughter a mocktail to suit her tastes, even though they weren't on the menu. Our order was taken correctly and presented to us in a reasonable time. The food came out hot and nicely presented, and big portions! Between us we had nachos and focaccia to start followed by pizza, calzones, burgers and scampi. All the meals were tasty and well-made. The focaccia got excellent feedback from us all and for mains I was told the spicy chicken calzone was particularly good, with large chunks of seasoned tender chicken. I had the ham and mushroom calzone which was a giant serving! It was delicious but I ended up wasting half of the filling, purely because there was so much of it, which I felt a little bad about! It could probably have filled two calzones at least! We didn't try the puddings as we just couldn't fit it in - maybe another time! The barman gifted me a bottle of wine at the end of the meal, having heard it was my birthday, which was a kind gesture. I'd happily return after our experience and recommend you give it a shot!
