What visitors say
Stansted Park put on a genuinely lovely festival this year. The whole place felt relaxed and welcoming, with that classic Hampshire “big day out” atmosphere. The grounds looked beautiful in the sun, and people drifted between the music, the displays and the food stalls without any rush or crowding. The live acts gave the day a nice rhythm — nothing too loud, nothing trying to be a stadium show, just easy entertainment that suited the estate perfectly. Families settled on the grass, older visitors wandered the classic cars, and kids darted between archery, crafts and the woodland bits. It had that rare mix where everyone finds something to enjoy without stepping on each other’s toes. Food was decent, prices fair, and the stallholders brought a proper village‑fair charm. Organisation felt smoother than previous years too — queues shorter, layout clearer, and staff more visible. Overall, 2026 felt like Stansted Park at its best: gentle, friendly, photogenic, and genuinely worth the trip. A festival that doesn’t try to be anything it isn’t — and is all the better for it.

Beautiful walk around the grounds at this lovely estate, especially to view the flowers in bloom and of course to visit the farm shop and pop into the garden centre. It really has become a nice destination for a few hours out or even longer if you want to walk around the vast grounds before a tea and cake.
