About The Lerryn Hotel

The Lerryn Hotel suits visitors after a no-nonsense stay near the Cornish coast rather than a polished city hotel experience. With 20 rooms, free on-site parking and a 24 hour reception, it works well for those touring the area by car, catching an early ferry or fitting in a round of golf, a walk or some fishing nearby. Pets are welcome too, which makes it a practical choice for travellers bringing their dog along.

Rooms are en-suite, with drinks available in room, and there are accessible rooms for guests who need them. Breakfast is a genuine highlight, and the on-site bar and garden give guests places to relax without leaving the property. That said, some rooms show their age, so this is a place best booked for comfort and location rather than pristine décor.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable for what's on offer. Falmouth itself has plenty to fill the days, from cycling and walking routes to watersports, pubs and restaurants close by. It's a sensible, well-placed base for exploring the coastline without overspending.

Not pictures/ Not trust!!! £205 per night (middle of June)it's definitely to much for this experience! On arrival we was told that room was ready. But.... carpet was dirty after previous people! Dust all over the room (mirror, desk, side beds, window area. Coffee, tea, milk was not refilled even we asked twice for. Not sure about rest of the rooms there but avoid no 16. It's very, very small and you can hear from next door connections. One of the curtains just about falling off! Was other options to book the night in Falmouth for less money and probably better experience than that, but the location wasn't that bad,so we was tempted. Well, over all please pass the nice photos of breakfast and proper check the place where you should relax...

Rooms were shabby, unclean, we were told 8am for breakfast, there was no one there, only to be told their kitchen stove was broken.. we just upped and left. Beds felt like you were sleeping on a wall and could fall off. And no large towels, which didn't matter as the shower was mouldy... The fan on the room was covered in years of dust. The photos on trip advisor must be of a different hotel...

SCRUFFY. A last minute booking meant few choices in June, so we opted for a nice looking hotel from the images. It was also £205 and we thought foolishly that it would look like the images? When we arrived to see a very scruffy hotel, rusty gate hanging off it's hinges, my heart sank. Everything was scruffy, the overworked staff, the decor, the carpets etc. Our room was tiny, manouvering around the room and bathroom required doing the crab. They had a fancy pod coffee machine but just one decaf pod. We asked twice for more and they had run out. Upon closer inspection the room was filthy, months of dust on some surfaces, probably from an over stretched housekeeping. I've worked in hotels for decades and can tell.
