About Bay View Camping
Getting out on the South West Coast Path could barely be easier than it is from Bay View Camping – this Cornwall site sits right by the shoreline between Falmouth and Maenporth, with its own private gate onto the path and a route down to a secluded beach. You can reach Maenporth and Swanpool beaches in about fifteen and twenty minutes respectively, both with places to eat, so there's no real need for the car once you've arrived. Or take the private path to Newporth Beach below a clifftop picnic meadow; at low tide you can walk onto neighbouring Sunny Corner, a clothing-optional stretch of sand.
The pitches themselves look east across the water – worth catching sunrise – and the whole setup is refreshingly low-key. There are flushing loos and hot showers despite the off-grid location, dogs and kids are welcome, and there aren't any rigid arrival or departure times. It's a brilliantly simple, back-to-basics spot for walkers and anyone who wants the coast path on their doorstep.

Stayed here and watched the Red Arrows display. Site facilities are basic but clean and well maintained. We dealt with Alice who was very accommodating. We parked with all the other people who were here to see the display then when the field had cleared we chose a nice spot for the Campervan. Great views and great access to the costal path and local beaches.

The owner at Bay View Camping, is the most charming, caring and attentive owner, I have ever stayed with. I have been camping for decades all around UK, and many times in Cornwall. The camp site is nothing less than paradise, with breathtaking views. As a single lady, I felt very much at home and utterly safe. The showers and toilets are meticulously cleaned twice per day, and Alice the owner, even leaves toiletries for us ladies - unheard of in all my years of camping! I wish I could live at Bay View - perhaps a one bed cottage, at the far end of the campsite?! :! Thank you so very much Alice, and I will see you next year! Nell & SLY X

Lovely little campsite. Gorgeous views, clean facilities with hot showers and not far from falmouth at all. The campsite is also nice and quiet. Be careful if you have a lowered van, we got up there fine in a very low t4 but the track up is a bit bumpy :)

An absolutely stunning place to pitch a tent for a few nights. The views are amazing. The coastal path is simple and quick into Falmouth. The site is easy to find as well due to being nicely sign posted by the owners. Showers are basic but hot. Allowed our 3 little dogs. Would camp here again.
