Fidelio Cafe

Long overdue review! We hosted our wedding reception at Fidelio in May, and it was an absolutely flawless experience. The atmosphere they curated was just lovely, and the personalised service we received made the entire event feel so special. Ash was incredible to work with from start to finish. He was so organised throughout the planning process and completely put us at ease, making us feel so calm leading up to the big day. The rest of the staff on the night were equally amazing, being professional, attentive, and incredibly kind to all of our external vendors, which we really appreciated. The venue itself has a wonderful layout, with a really cool main reception area and an equally cool basement space. The sound system is top-notch, and the jazz duo we hired directly through Fidelio sounded fantastic and set the perfect mood. To top it all off, the food and drinks were absolutely lovely, and our guests were raving about them. It was truly money very well spent, and we cannot recommend Ash and the Fidelio team enough for a wedding reception! On a separate note, we have also been to Fidelio a number of times just for food and coffee, and we would highly recommend it from that perspective too. We still need to book in for one of their live music events soon, but whether you are planning a major event or just popping in for a coffee, this place is brilliant.

We are so glad that we chose Fidelio to host our wedding party. The general manager, Ash, could not have been more patient, flexible and accommodating during the planning stage and made the whole thing a breeze! We opted for the canapés and small plates standing reception for 85 people, although there were also tables dotted about for people to sit and eat according to their preference. The jazz/cocktail bar downstairs was a huge plus for the second part of the evening. The whole team was delightful; we really appreciated the atmosphere they created, making the event feel really relaxed and personal whilst also being highly attentive to our guests (from the youngest to the oldest). The food, wine and cocktails were delicious and plentiful, the décor was superb meaning no need for additional decorations and we could not have picked a better place.

Visited on a Tuesday for a trio recital - a really memorable evening, superb food, reasonably priced, lovely attentive staff, beautiful building and the music was incredible. Arrived early, ordered drinks and nibbles, enjoyed every minute of a fabulous recital then stayed for food after, which was gorgeous, authentic and Italian. Fidelio is a really unique venue. We will be back!

Great place with lots of seating and cool music vibe that was near to where I stayed. Perfect to grab a sandwich, pastries, coffee etc and just have a nice chilled meal. I definitely preferred the bacon and egg sandwich over the apple muffin. The service and staff are outstanding and the overall atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. I can see how this place would be hopping during their music events. 2024.07.05
