Outstanding experience. Went for dinner with a friend on a weekday and there was a nice atmosphere without it being too busy. Aayusha our server was attentive and friendly. Both our mains were superb and we were amazed by the billtong trolley. Carl was so knowledgable and charming and the billtong was spectacular. A huge thank you for a brilliant experience!!

Vivat Bacchus Farringdon exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful wooden interiors and a fantastic selection of South African wines. The biltong was delicious, the beef tartare was fresh and flavourful, and the Braai Board was the star of the evening, generous, perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Thank you to Zane, nothing was too much for him. A fantastic spot for date nights, celebrations or simply enjoying excellent food and wine. I’ll definitely be returning.

I had a business meeting in the area today and finished around lunch time, so decided to spontaneously pop into VB for a quick lunch. I Was greeted at the door by Thanos who showed me to my seat, made conversation, recommended some mocktails (as I was heading back to work) and made me feel comfortable and welcome. I was then served by Zane who made me forget I was dining alone and made the experience so lovely. I said I wanted something light but wholesome and he suggested the biltong Caesar salad. It was absolute delicious, and such a great experience. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

A meat lover's dream! We tried the Club Carnivore experience - lots of red meat and red wine. All the meat dishes were absolutely divine and I was quite tipsy by the end from the amount of wine! The South Africans know how to cook a steak. Definitely worth a visit if you're not a vegetarian.
