Coachman’s Cottage

Coachman's Cottage works well for families and small groups wanting countryside access without losing comfort. The estate spans 1900 hectares around the conservation village of Falkland, and the cottage itself sits in a courtyard with its own clock tower. Two bedrooms sleep four: one has a kingsize bed, the other zip-and-link singles that convert to a super kingsize. There is one shower room. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and television, while the kitchen/dining room is equipped for cooking a proper meal—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine are all here.

Outside, an enclosed garden with courtyard and furniture gives you private outdoor space. Parking for two cars is on site. The essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included, as are initial logs for the fire. One well-behaved pet stays free. The grounds themselves are shared, but you have sole use of the cottage. From here, walking starts on the doorstep: Falkland village with its lanes and parish church is close by, and the wider regional park offers obvious scope for longer expeditions. The property does have a natural water supply from a spring. There are four steps down to the garden from the house.
