East Lodge is a B-listed lodge dating from the 1800s, positioned at the eastern entrance to the Falkland Estate. The building's Tudor styling and period character have been preserved through a 2021 refurbishment that introduced contemporary comfort without compromising the original fabric. The estate sits within Lomond Hills Regional Park, making it a base for exploring rural Fife's landscape and nearby attractions.
The ground floor centres on a living and dining room with a wood-burning stove, opening to the garden through French doors. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an adjacent utility room housing a washing machine. A shower room completes this level. Upstairs, two bedrooms each contain a zip-and-link bed that can be configured as a super kingsize or split into singles, serving couples or families equally well. A second shower room with walk-in shower serves the bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. The property provides parking for two cars on site, with additional road parking available.
A garden with sitting-out area and BBQ extends the usable space. The lodge is non-smoking. The position at Falkland Estate's entrance places you immediately within grounds worth exploring on foot.
