Marlow 1

Marlow 1 is a two-bedroom lodge on a 100-acre resort in Fife's rural landscape, close enough to St Andrews that you can reach the town in minutes but far enough away to feel properly remote. The whole property is yours alone, set among woodland with space to walk and think. One bedroom has a double bed with its own toilet; the other has two singles. There is one shower room to share. Everything happens on the ground floor in an open-plan layout: a living area with Smart TV, a kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine, and a dining space. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. You get exclusive use of a four-person hot tub in the garden.

St Andrews itself is a medieval university town with cobbled streets, a working cathedral and castle, and a long sandy beach where seals appear regularly. Beyond the tourist attractions, there are independent shops, cafés and restaurants threaded through the old town centre. The resort grounds offer gym, sauna and steam room facilities shared with other guests on-site, plus parking for two cars. No smoking inside. One well-behaved dog or cat is welcome.
