Regent 2

Fife's coastline draws visitors for golf, beaches and the medieval charm of St Andrews, which sits five minutes' drive from Regent 2. This two-bedroom lodge occupies a 100-acre resort with woodland walks and shared leisure facilities including a sauna, steam room and gym. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a double bed and ensuite toilet, the other with two single beds and a shower room. The open-plan living space combines a lounge with electric fire and TV, a dining area and a kitchen equipped for full self-catering—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are provided. Gas central heating keeps things warm. No smoking inside.

St Andrews itself offers castle and cathedral ruins, a long sandy beach, and narrow streets lined with independent shops and restaurants. The town's famous golf courses draw players worldwide, though the medieval streets and university buildings give it character beyond the fairways. One dog is welcome here.
