Rivendale 8

Rivendale 8 works well for families or groups of up to six wanting a whole lodge to themselves. The ground-floor layout keeps everything accessible: two bedrooms (one with a king bed and ensuite, one with two singles), a second bathroom, and an open-plan living and dining space. There's also a sofa bed in a separate snug, which is suitable for children. A fully equipped kitchen lets you cook as much or as little as you like, and the electric fire takes the edge off cooler evenings.

The private hot tub for four is the real draw here—it overlooks the decking and gives you a genuine reason to linger outside. Guests staying on the resort also have access to a shared gym, sauna and steam room. One small dog is welcome. Parking is provided for two cars, and wifi keeps you connected. Everything essential—heating, electricity, linen and towels—is included.

The location sits within a 100-acre resort near Stewart's Resort Group, roughly five minutes from St Andrews itself. Golf courses dot the surrounding area, and the beach is five miles away. A non-smoking property.
