The Coach House

Soughton Hall and The Coach House were absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. It was the very first venue we viewed, and as soon as we saw it, we knew it was the one. The setting is beautiful, and we instantly fell in love with it. The entire experience, from start to finish, was amazing. We especially loved the food tasting experience, which was such a lovely part of the wedding planning process and made us even more excited for the big day. The food itself was incredible, and our guests commented on how fantastic everything was. Every single member of staff was wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and that we felt completely looked after throughout the whole journey. A very special thank you to our coordinator, Erin, who was simply amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made everything run so smoothly. Her support, kindness, and attention to detail meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful. Although Soughton Hall hosts many weddings, they have a truly special way of making you feel as though you’re the only couple in the world getting married. You know you’re in safe and trusted hands from the moment you book, and they make the whole experience feel so personal and memorable. The rooms within the hall are absolutely beautiful, and all of our guests loved staying there. Everyone commented on how lovely the venue was and what a special place it is. We honestly couldn’t recommend Soughton Hall and The Coach House more highly. Thank you to Erin and the entire team for giving us the most incredible day!!

This venue is incredible. We fell in love with it from the moment we entered the driveway. Venue Beautiful, rustic, warm and inviting. Needs little decor, the decor you have will only enhance its beauty. Food The best wedding food we have ever had. Every guest commented on how nice (and filling!) it was. If anything, the food on the day was even better than our menu tasting. The wine is also delicious, we upgraded but the additional cost was minimal The coordinators…. Erin and Lia were actual angels. I gave very little instruction, we just wanted a relaxed and fun day for all. Anyone who has a stressful wedding day did not have these women coordinating it…. They took care of every detail and dressed our venue to be more than we could have imagined. The lead up to the wedding was completely painless with quick and efficient responses and advice. The loveliest ladies who added to our day. We are so glad they were a part of it. Over all, this venue is perfect. We also had access to the main hotel for rooms for our guests so it felt that the whole, beautiful place was ours. Outstanding, from beginning to end and we wish we could do it all again.

From the moment we first visited The Coach House at Soughton Hall, we knew it was something truly special – no other place compared. But nothing could have prepared us for just how amazing our wedding would be. On 20th July 2025, the team at Soughton Hall didn’t just host our wedding – they gave us memories we will cherish forever. The setting itself is picture-perfect: rustic charm blended seamlessly with elegant touches, and surrounded by beautiful grounds that made for stunning photographs. The Coach House strikes that perfect balance of relaxed and romantic, and every detail thoughtfully designed to make the day feel both intimate and grand. The staff were exceptional from start to finish. They were warm, attentive, and so genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Nothing was too much trouble – whether it was coordinating timings, looking after our guests, or making sure we always had a glass in hand, they handled it all with such care and professionalism. One huge point to note that did not go unnoticed was when serving food the staff all waited and put the food down on the tables at the same time - simply incredible. The food… wow. Every guest commented on how delicious and beautifully presented it was, from the canapés right through to the evening feast. The service was flawless, and everything ran so smoothly that we could simply relax and enjoy every moment. We’ve had so many friends and family tell us it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended – and we wholeheartedly agree. The Coach House isn’t just a venue; it’s an experience, and we will always be grateful to the team for giving us the most perfect day. If you are looking for a wedding venue that combines breathtaking beauty, incredible service, and that elusive “something special,” we couldn’t recommend The Coach House at Soughton Hall more highly. What a venue! The Coach House at Soughton hall is honestly incredible. It has got so much character and is so beautifully styled inside. Outside, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. But what really makes this venue is the incredible staff, Erin, Hannah and the rest of the team were absolutely brilliant throughout. Each and every staff member was so professional, friendly, happy and knowledgeable. From viewing the venue, to answering our little questions, paying the bills, to the menu tasting and to hosting our wedding nothing was never too big of an ask. On the day absolutely everything ran smoothly, the food was highly praised by all guests and most importantly they treated us like guests of honour! They decorated the venue even better than I could have ever done it myself or imagined the venue would have looked. They had fantastic ideas about the day, encouraging us two to have time alone in the gardens to guests waving napkins. We truly appreciate all of the effort that went into making our day so perfect and special. Thank you so much!
