The staff were friendly and welcoming when we first checked in, with the location being conveniently close to LeShuttle. However, as many other reviews have mentioned, the hotel and rooms were unbearably hot. None of us managed to get any sleep because of how uncomfortable the temperature was. Our room was 32°C, and the only form of “air conditioning” was a small fan that simply blew warm air at us, considering it was only 18°C outside, there was absolutely no reason for the hotel to be so excessively hot. Due to the lack of sleep we managed to get, it made the rest of our journey unnecessarily difficult as we struggled to stay awake. For this reason we will not be staying again.

Its either a night before you go on the Le Shuttle or a night as you get back, just 10 minutes drive from the Terminal. The room we had was clean, tidy and quiet, staff are friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant/pub and found the meal deals to be of good value/choice. Oh and as always, breakfast was excellent!

I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer nights. The room had no breathable air whatsoever it was unbearable. I’m almost 9 months pregnant & we had 2 children with us and we were all feeling ill, we had to cut our holiday short and leave at 1am. The staff themselves were lovely, provided us with an extra fan & free water but it made no difference. Had to sleep with wet towels over us all. Whether the website states it has aircon or not, the room should not be as hot as it was. Pretty dangerous in my opinion, will not be going there again.

Had a great night stay on our way to Europe. Not previously stayed at this property. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms and bathroom were clean with everything you would need. The beds were great resulting in a good quality sleep. Grateful for the extra pillow provided on the shelf. You might need an umbrella walking to another building for breakfast if it rains. Buffet breakfast was perfectly cooked. I myself prefer a bigger selection on the continental breakfast side as you would get in a 4* hotel, but all in all everything was good. The close location to the channel tunnel makes this hotel a great location. Will definitely return.
