About Breamore House

Tucked into the gentle border country where the New Forest meets Cranborne Chase, this adults-only touring site occupies the grounds of a grand Elizabethan manor house. The grass pitches are spacious and peaceful, with water points and chemical disposal on hand, plus drainage hook-ups for those who need them. It's a simple setup that suits those who value quieter rural surroundings over electric hook-ups—perfect for self-sufficient motorhomes and campervans.

Beyond your pitch, there's plenty to explore: guided tours of the historic house reveal fascinating stories from knowledgeable guides, while the countryside museum displays old farming implements and rural life exhibits. The courtyard café serves excellent breakfasts, lunches and home-baked treats—a real highlight according to visitors—and the farm shop stocks quality local produce. The location is ideal for walkers and cyclists, with bridleways threading through beautiful landscapes, and the south coast is only half an hour away.

Note that some guests have found the site management a little confrontational, but most enjoy the tranquil setting and heritage appeal.

An utterly delightful experience. Charming interior, lovely friendly staff and a good cup of coffee. The carrot cake served on bone China plates whilst sitting at and on period eclectic furniture a delight. We then spent along time in the really brilliant Museum befor returning for a perfect bacon, brie and cranberry toasty. Lovely friendly clientele a MUST for dog lovers too. Thank you so much for today. We shall return very shortly. Lori

This lovely house was well worth a visit. When you buy your ticket you are given a timed entry to join a tour. Our guide was excellent and full of useful and fun information. The position on the hillside, means that there are lovely views, and there are woodland walks around the estate. There is also an excellent cafe, Saxon church and museum. The house is also an Historic House, so free for members.
