About Hill Cottage Farm Touring Caravan Park
Spacious, hedge-lined pitches and spotless modern facilities earn Hill Cottage Farm plenty of praise, but it's the unexpected on-site Thai restaurant and takeaway that really sets this peaceful Hampshire site apart. Spread across 40 acres near the Dorset border, the family-owned park offers three coarse fishing lakes, a play area, and a dog walk threading through native hedgerows where local birds and wildlife thrive. Fully-serviced pitches include hardstanding and grass options, while the amenities block delivers large, wheelchair-accessible showers and toilets alongside a well-stocked shop and launderette.
Beyond the site, woodland walks and fields of deer lie just next door, while Stonehenge sits 40 minutes north and Bournemouth's beaches half an hour south. The village of Alderholt is a 20-minute stroll for essentials and a muddy-boots-welcome pub, with Fordingbridge's broader selection three miles on. It's a polished, friendly base that strikes a rare balance between rural calm and proper convenience.

What visitors say
Staying here for the week and so far no complaints what so ever. Very friendly staff on site, we are staying in a tent on a serviced pitch, the pitch is a lot bigger than we expected, we manged to fit 4 berth tent, a trailer and a car. (Could have fitted another tent 😂). Toilets and showers are very good, although would be nicer to have more water pressure but thats not complainig, short walk away to the local village to be met by a pub! We have stayed in many places inc Tenby/north wales, this is one of the nicest sites we have stayed at, 100% return in future. To add too, the shop is amazing very well stocked with bags of ice, to keep your beers nice n cool!

We have stayed here 3 times now in our campervan. The site is fantastic and an ideal base for all surrounding areas to visit. The facilities on the site are first class, with toilets, showers, washing up facilities and laundry which are kept very clean and tidy. The staff on site are very friendly. The Thai Kitchen resturant / Takeaway on site is lovely and worth trying. There is a lovely walk for taking your dog through the wooded area which runs along the horse field and you can walk into the village of Alderholt where there is a nice country pub called the Churchill which is worth a visit. Be careful accessing the site with some of the narrow roads and lanes. All in all, i would only stay on this site qhen we visit the area again. A***.

Nicely laid out site with hedges between the gravel pitches. Accommodate tents at the bottom of the field and also a Thai restaurant on site. Modern facilities and a little shop for essentials. Needs a better sign outside the caravan site as it's easy to miss and drive passed (Which we did🙄) and turning isn't easy either. Electricity is extra which you can top-up at reception or on an App. The walk to the pub (Churchill Inn) through the woods is not adequately sign posted and you can easily get lost. Overall pleased with the site and would come back.

Stayed on the touring site in a motorhome for 7 nights. Excellent site, very clean and well maintained. Pitch was fully serviced and very large with hedges between pitches providing privacy. Shop selling essentials on site, Thai restaurant and even a caravan maintenance company on site should you have any issues.
