Midgham Farm - Chiddock Cottage

Chiddock Cottage is a converted barn on a working stud farm in the New Forest, designed as a single-storey space with high ceilings and exposed beams. It sleeps four across two bedrooms—a kingsize and two singles—with two bathrooms, a woodburner, and an open-plan living area that combines kitchen, dining and lounge. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is provided, including bed linen, towels, wifi and logs for the fire.

The cottage adjoins two others in an L-shaped cluster, sharing an enclosed courtyard with a fire pit, pizza oven and barbecue, plus access to 40 acres of woodland grounds on the farm. Each property has its own decked garden seating area. There is private parking for two cars on site. The location suits families and groups wanting a rural setting with room to move around; fly fishing is available on-site for those with a licence, and walking paths lead from the property into the wider New Forest. No smoking inside.
