The Lambing Shed is a single-storey barn conversion on a working farm, set up so you have everything you need without having to think about it. Electricity, WiFi, bed linen and towels are all included. The kitchen comes with a gas hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, fridge and microwave—the setup works well for families wanting to cook together. A wood burner takes the chill off, with initial logs provided, and gas central heating covers the rest.

The property sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double and two singles, both with televisions. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower. Everything is on the ground floor and accessed via a single step. The living space opens onto a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. Beyond that, the enclosed garden gives you a private outdoor area. On-site parking fits two cars, and there's a bike store if you're exploring the Forest of Dean by pedal.

Non-smokers only. The Lambing Shed sits within the grounds of the owner's home and working farm, and farm tours can be arranged directly with them if you're interested.
