It was a last minute booking at this place, turned out the best stay with a very warm welcome. Breakfast’s super nice, rooms are tidy, plenty toiletries and clean washroom. Parking facility id available, quite accessible to the city side. And a pleasant atmosphere. Host was super nice, had a nice friendly chat with him, his recommendations were on point. Really loved the whole stay, would defo recommend and come back en route this way next time :)

Horrible, just don’t stay here for your own safety! It started really nice, but they pushed us out of our room halfway the stay because they didn’t trust our bank transfer. They were not interested in any proof, they only offered to bring us to the ATM to get cash (and pay double).

Had to cancel due to a family emergency. Was looking to book a month or so later. I understand it’s non refundable but there was no cooperation with me to work on booking in the future. Basically said “no refund” and that’s it. Coming to read their reviews it seems they’re not very friendly to begin with

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! Don’t be misled by the inflated rating on Booking.com—I deeply regret not checking reviews elsewhere before booking. This property is wildly overrated and overpriced. Yes, it’s in a tourist-heavy area, so higher prices are expected—but what I received in return was a truly unpleasant experience. The room was clearly neglected: hair and dust everywhere, and the carpet was so filthy I couldn’t bear to look closely. Apparently it hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. I was asked to specify a breakfast time, but it was delivered at 8am regardless—on a dirty tray, no less. The fruit was of poor quality and barely edible (with hair in the plate). The host was shockingly rude. After a minor incident involving the curtains, he threatened to kick us out and refused to accept my sincere apology. If you want a glimpse into the host’s attitude, just read the responses they’ve posted to negative reviews on Booking.com. It’s astonishing this place continues to operate in the hospitality industry. DON’T TRY IT IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR FORT WILLIAM EXPERIENCE RUINED
