The Old Schoolhouse Cottage

Fort William sits at the heart of Scotland's west coast, surrounded by some of the Highlands' most dramatic landscapes. The Old Schoolhouse Cottage is a ground-floor property that puts you within easy reach of the town's shops, restaurants and bars, plus the outdoor attractions that draw people here: Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, the Caledonian Canal, and the whisky distillery are all minutes away. The beach lies about a mile off. For day trips further afield, Loch Ness, Skye, Oban and Glencoe are all within driving distance.

The cottage sleeps two in a double bedroom with an adjoining shower room. The living space is open-plan, combining kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with patio doors that open onto a decking area and garden looking toward the mountains. You have a private driveway for one car, and the essentials—heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels—are all included. The garden has three steps. No smoking is permitted inside.
