Great haven site! Was very busy but understandable for the Bank Holiday weekend. Beach access was great! Lots of good food options, love that it can be brought to your table whilst watching the entertainment. Caravan was clean and spacious. Ranger tots was good my little ones enjoyed it. Loads of things for kids to do to keep them entained all the time. Only downside was no splashaway bay.

Stayed on the touring site which was fully serviced. Toilet/ shower block let this down slightly. Mens could do with more cubicles for the size of site there are 3! They could also do with a good deep clean and the toilets need better flush as ladies were always blocked. The main park had lots going on but could also do with a good clean. More attention to the outside areas needed.Swimming pool great but needs deep cleaning in places and maintaining. Overall the main issue was a good deep clean everywhere and maintainace.

Stayed for a long weekend. First impression everything looked good. Few things that need addressing though. I am sure this will be taken as a positive as none if this i will mention did not spoil our holiday. Whilst I understand there are lots of apartments and caravans that need to be cleaned they seemed to have missed under the sofas in the apartment we stayed in and also I think the floor was cleaned with a dirty mop as when you walked about bare foot your soles looked like you had walked over charcoal. We also paid for the towel package but when we came to use them they smelled like ear wax or slightly musty. This could be down to a number of things like being stored damp, not dried properly or issues with washing machines etc. Did not cause us any problems just an unfortunate things to happen. With the hot weather the water level had dropped in the lake so the dragon boats was like trying to pedal through treacle. Hope the resort will be able to sort clearing a path out around the lake for the dragon boats to be used to the full capacity. I know it would be a lot of work clearing the pond weed out even just for a path to follow but would make for a better experience for all visitors. Last thing was there was some cakes and pre packaged items in one of the shops that where out of date, I raised this with the staff and they where removed straight away so praise to the staff for dealing with that swiftly. Please dont let this review change your mind about staying here. The staff where great and friendly. There was options for gluten free and people with allergies. (Papa John's don't have the GF pizza bases) the softplay was great, arcades all working, food and drinks reasonable priced. Great location with lots of things to do in the surrounding areas if you have travelled by car.

Went here for a week at half term. Only after we paid in full did we see the swimming pool was closed. Please get you website team to display this information more clearly as this was the main reason for choosing this park. Pool aside apartment was well equipped, fairly clean and good water pressure and hot water. Fridge was excellent in the 34 degree heat and ice box worked better then some freezers. Beach was good and nice to see a new easier way to get to the wider sandy area via road and pavement save lots of stones in toddlers sandels. Food was pretty good, Chopstix/Papa Jones/Slim Chickens/Burger king/Fish and Chips place all good and not too penalised on delivery. Just beware can take a while when busy. Staff service on food was pretty good, they just need more serving staff. A lot of waiting for food even when chefs had the food ready. Activity staff was hit and miss, waited 20 mins over due time for kart hire due to lack of staff. Also activities are not cheap, Bouncy castle is £10 per kid for 30 mins. Overall happy with our visit, it's a long way to get to but worth it especially when the pool is open. Compared to bigger sites this one has space and is noticeable with space between the caravan sites. Activities are limited for children under 4 years old but they was still stuff to do. Please install additional EV chargers with space to open doors etc at the main entrance car park, Monta, EV charges were 50p per KW as of this review.
