The Stables is a converted barn near Gateshead that accommodates up to 27 people across eight bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Every room is on the ground floor, arranged around a courtyard. The property includes a spacious open-plan living area with a dining section and smart television, patio doors opening onto the grounds, and a kitchen equipped for cooking at scale – electric oven, induction hob, combi microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler and coffee machine among its fixtures. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered in your booking.
Eight bedrooms means there is genuine privacy for different groups. Bedrooms 1 to 3 each have a double bed; bedrooms 4 to 8 are galleried rooms with three single beds apiece, and four of them also include a sofa bed for additional sleeping space. All nine bathrooms have baths with shower attachments and heated towel rails. The grounds are enclosed and include a patio, firepit, barbecue and garden furniture; a private hot tub seats seven. Parking for five cars is available on-site.
The location is a few minutes from Newcastle and works well for large family celebrations, group gatherings or corporate bookings. The grounds feel secluded despite the proximity to the city. No smoking is permitted throughout the property.

What guests say
Really well presented, great location and the rooms were excellent. Very easy booking process and fast at responding to any questions. The hot tub was a welcomed bonus as the view from it is beautiful. I stayed here on a Stag Party and it was the perfect location for the 20 of us.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully converted stables! The location was excellent, being only a short drive outside of the city centre, but feeling like you are tucked away in the countryside. It offered the ideal balance for a relaxing getaway, with the added bonus of having plenty of activities and attractions close by. The spacious living area was perfect for entertaining our group. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, socialise, and enjoy meals together without ever feeling cramped. Everything was spotless on arrival, and the whole place had a fresh, modern feel throughout. The highlight, without a doubt, was the large hot tub. It was well-maintained, easy to use, and the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings after exploring the area. A great place for a comfy, spacious countryside break - quiet and relaxing, but still really close to the city centre. We’d definitely go back!

We visited TyneView with family, staying in The Stables, and what a perfect venue it is. Lots of land for the littles (or bigs) to run round, and a hot tub to unwind at the end of the day. The decor is gorgeous and the huge open plan living area is fantastic for socialising. 10/10 stay!
