As a teacher who has been on many residential trips, I can confidently say this has been the best I have ever experienced. It was an amazing 3 days - the staff were incredible with our students and ensured everyone (including teachers) was having a great time. The camp was extremely well organised - thank you to our leader, Dixie. The children had so much fun doing all the activities and absolutely adored the tribe leaders, Harvey, Alex and Emily. We had regular check-ins to ensure we had everything we needed, including lots of good food and snacks. I would 100% recommend for any school to do a trip here!

After reading the reviews I panicked. I didnt want my SEND daughter to go here on her year 5 residential. However after speaking with staff about dietary requirements, risk assessment and infection control i very worryingly allowed her to go. Im so glad I did ! She had an amazing time. She came home full of exciting stories and experiences. She said the toilets were clean but the floor was muddy, completely expected with the rain they had. Noisy tents had to wash up. Great consequence for night time rule breaking. If she didnt come home caked in mud in my opinions she didnt have fun, and boy was there mud 🤣 Overall im really pleased that she had the most amazing time. As a very wise parent told me, any one can write a bad review especially if the truth is stretched by a disgruntled child. And calling children out of their tents in the night time could be for safety to do head counts if there have been children trying to go off on their own. I have learnt a lesson on deep diving reviews. Thankyou bushcraft company for fueling my daughters passion for the outdoors.

If you want character building, appreciation of nature, survival skills and back-to-basics camping - THIS IS AMAZING! Ignore the negative reviews - this experience is not intended to be luxurious - it is a wilderness experience - not a luxury holiday. Our school has used Bushcraft for 8 years and I highly recommend them. School residential trips can often be quite repetitive - canoeing, rock climbing, archery etc. This is different! Our pupils have always loved sleeping outdoors (who needs a tent) collecting wood, learning new skills and having fun. The toilets are basic - what do you expect in the middle of the woods? The food is simplistic (but plentiful) - what do you expect in the middle of the woods? It can be muddy - what do you expect in the middle of the woods? There aren't hot showers - what do you expect in the middle of the woods? The entire experience is fabulous and we always see a different, often more positive, side of our pupils. Ditch the electronic gadgets completely for 3 days - allow our young people to be children again... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Bushcraft Company!

If you like to camp and rough it you will love Bushcraft. The staff are amazing and the kids had a wonderful time. They instructed them how to build a fire. The students then cooked their own burgers. They built shelters, learnt knife skills, did team building games, learnt about the environment, did tag archery, learnt about first aid and then tried to rescue the teachers from an aeroplane crash. A good time was had by all. Very basic so com prepared!
