My partner and I stayed in this hotel a few nights ago and wow it was amazing. The room was stunning and amazing value for money, not to mention the minibar which was a lovely touch. The location could’nt be more perfect and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Glasgow! Highly recommend.

We could not have asked for a better or more comfortable stay in Glasgow. Location was ideal. Such was the quality of the room, during our stay we were encouraged to spend more time in the room than we ordinarily would. The hotel was spotless, modern with fantastic amenities. Very comfortable beds and all needs catered for and more. Staff very friendly and helpful. The upstairs bar was peaceful and haven from the buzz of the city below. A perfect location despite being so central, the room was quiet overnight. Next to the train station, Waxy O’Connors and Buchanan Street. Could not recommend higher. Look forward to a future stay.

We stayed at the Carlton George Hotel during our trip to Glasgow. I honestly don’t know how to put it into words, but it was a truly wonderful experience for us. The main reason is this: since I suffer from allergic asthma, the presence of dust or a dirty room is a major concern for me due to my health condition. At this hotel, we saw that our bathroom was cleaned, our bed was made, and the floors were vacuumed every single day without fail. Additionally, the minibar was restocked daily. They are incredibly clean and meticulous. We were extremely satisfied throughout our three-day Glasgow holiday. If we ever visit Glasgow again, we will definitely stay here. The location is also incredible; it's so close to everything. It’s near Buchanan Street, George Square, and Queen Street. You are at most 10 minutes away from everywhere you’d want to see. This was a huge luxury for us because we could easily drop off our shopping bags in the room and continue with our sightseeing. The room size was also quite good, and even the inside of the wardrobes was spotless. Because of all this, I give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Since our room was located at the back of the building, we were probably positioned near the ventilation system. There was a faint humming sound from the ventilation, but we didn't find it to be a problem because the insulation was excellent and the windows closed very tightly

Highly recommend. Staff is welcoming. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Atmosphere is low key and amazingly quiet. Great location for access to local sights; train station is a one minute walk. I cannot think of enough superlatives to adequately describe how much I enjoyed my stay.
