I highly recommend that if you are in Glasgow, you take the time to go to this particular gallery. It is absolutely fabulous. There’s five floors and they have everything you can possibly think of. I was very impressed with it. The staff were outstanding. I just can’t say enough good things about it so take the time go see it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Visited the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow and really enjoyed it. The building itself is beautiful, and the exhibitions were thought-provoking and well presented. The mix of contemporary artwork and the historic architecture makes it a unique place to explore. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and admission being free is a fantastic bonus. It’s well worth a visit whether you’re interested in art or just looking for something different to do in the city centre.

This was a superb gallery to visit, with info about the building's history dating back to when it was first built during the 1700s! There is also a peephole kept that was used for people to have a warm place to look at displays here and the inspirational messages are strong across the walls, helping empower homeless people originally. Clay works are very creative including ones depicting snowballs having been thrown, graphics showing the building itself and other settings or people are unique themselves! Multi-color patterns are pretty as they represent standing objects too; symbolism is invoked in exhibits like houses worked onto people's faces. Plates displaying people across different homes are interesting and images show them making food or sat on their cosy seating, an old room is here to scale which is interesting to look at. Images of children growing up and society across the streets in the industrial days are great to see, along with info about asylum seekers having come to Glasgow and Stirling's Library opening in 1954!

A unique museum space. There was a film on African soldiers which I watched about five minutes. I plan to go back when I have more time. The use of space is interesting as the floors kind of blend together. It’s a beautiful building with a cafe, gift shop and library. The exhibit on domestic places is best experienced if you listen to the video that is playing on the tv in the center of the exhibit. I had a good time and staff was friendly.
