About Hotel Indigo Glasgow

Breakfast at Hotel Indigo Glasgow is a proper start to the day, with hot dishes cooked to order alongside the usual spread, and there's a bar and restaurant on site for whenever hunger strikes later. It's the kind of detail that guests come back for, alongside staff who are consistently described as friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself sits on Waterloo Street in Glasgow, close to the River Clyde and within easy walking distance of Buchanan Street's shops and Glasgow Central Station. Its 94 rooms are styled with a boutique edge and come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, room service and drinks available in-room; showers in particular get singled out for praise. That said, a few guests have noted the rooms don't always feel as well maintained as they should, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly.

Beyond the rooms, there's a gym on site, a lift serving the hotel's five floors, and accessible rooms available. Laundry service and luggage storage are on hand for those passing through, and chargeable parking can be found nearby along with an electric vehicle charge point. The surrounding area offers plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, with a golf course also nearby for those wanting to venture a little further.

It was a bit pricey for a one night stay, but it was one of the cheapest in the city for a Saturday Night at the beginning of July. Needed a room to come back to after our concert. Not a lot to grumble about other than a room door that was a bit sticky and wouldn't open, but we brought that up upon checking out. Comfy bed. Clean room. Very nice modern bathroom with a generously sized shower. A nice friendly gentleman behind the desk taking interest in our stay and very informative about what transport to get to our gig. Our breakfast came with the price of the room, it was delicious but some of the items on the Scottish breakfast seemed to have been pre cooked and the only fresh thing on the plate was maybe the egg which was very oily. There was plenty of other options though if a fry-up isn't for you. Overall very good. Would stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Indigo Glasgow in the city centre during our family trip to Scotland. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of! A huge thank you to Erin, Calvin and Leo G at the front desk… they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. Their customer service truly made a difference and helped make our trip so enjoyable! But honestly, I feel so bad for not getting the names of some of the other team members we interacted with because everyone was really great. The hotel itself is immaculate. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained. We had three rooms booked, and the staff thoughtfully placed all of us together, even giving us connecting rooms!!  That made traveling with family so much easier and more enjoyable. The bar in the hotel has a really cool atmosphere, and the breakfast buffet each morning was absolutely lovely with great service and quality food. Roughly 14£. Worth it!! Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve truly had. The staff made us feel genuinely cared for, and we would happily stay here again the next time we’re in Glasgow. Highly recommend!

For the price, this hotel is sadly lacking. I was not given the room I booked despite having email confirmation. I was told there was nothing that could be done because it was a Friday night and sent away without apology or compensation. My husband and I therefore spent 2 nights in a room that had 2 small double beds crammed into it leaving barely enough space to put our case on the floor. Hot breakfast is a series of pre cooked and warmed through items that have lacked care in their preparation. The continental section was basic but adequate. Location is good as only a very short walk to most places across the city.

What a beautiful hotel. Right in the middle of the city centre. Looks great, staff were friendly BUT…. What terrible pillows. Honestly, you would think hotels would have realised that a pillow is the make or break experience for a good sleep. For anyone that likes a firm pillow, this place is not for you. The piling of all 4 pillows to try and make a decent pillow? Yes, this is this place.
