About Leonardo Inn Glasgow West End

Walk into a room at Leonardo Inn Glasgow West End and you get a practical, en-suite base with the basics covered: free WiFi, drinks in the room, and family rooms and accessible rooms available across the hotel's 137 bedrooms. Room service is on offer for anyone who'd rather not leave, though some rooms show their age and could do with a refresh, so it's worth keeping expectations realistic on finish rather than function.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for meals without having to go far, plus breakfast each morning, a lift for easy access, and facilities geared towards both leisure and business, including meeting rooms and laundry service. The hotel also handles weddings, and luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures.

The location near Byres Road and Hillhead puts guests within reach of Glasgow's West End shops, pubs and restaurants, with a golf course and entertainment nearby too, and convenient access into Glasgow city centre. Parking is available on site, making it a fuss-free option for those arriving by car.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (7/5 Stars) - Far More Than Just a Hotel, It’s a Family...... I have been staying at the Leonardo Inn Hotel Glasgow West End for approximately three weeks now, and I can say without a doubt that this place has become an absolute addiction. From my very first day, the standout feature of this hotel has been its incredible team. They don’t just work together; they operate like one big, supportive family. Every single member of the staff is helpful, genuinely smiling, and consistently willing to go above and beyond the absolute maximum of your expectations. Honestly, you never know which staff member is going to exceed your expectations next because they are all trying to outdo each other with kindness..... A few special shout-outs are thoroughly deserved: George & Scott (Everywhere): Absolutely amazing individuals who make you feel welcome the moment you see them. (The besties!) Sharline : Incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed at any given time. Liam & the big Polish gentleman (Reception): Both are fantastic assets to the hotel and completely brilliant at what they do. Throughout all my travels, this hotel stands out at the very top. Regardless of any tiny, minor issues you might expect with a long-term or a short stay, the human element here completely overshadows everything else. They aren't just a professional staff; they are a kind, professional family. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If I could give them 7 stars, I would..... Peace and Love ❤️❤️❤️ .... Nice quiet location with excellent public transport links. Bus stops a few hundred yards away and there are 2 train stations nearby. Staff were very helpful. Right down to helping me choose a meal from the bar. Buffet breakfast was good. Just missing square sausage! 😁 Room was comfortable. Although the shower took me a few minutes to work out. Overall a relaxing experience.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Gartnavel Hospital but we're a bit worried because some reviews said that it was cold. The room (superior double) was a decent size with a huge radiator. Turn on the thermostatic valve and hey presto it's lovely and warm. Everything was nice and clean and they made the beds up in the mornings. The guy on reception was very friendly. He let us check on early and gave us a free pass for the car park, which was great. Haven't tried the restaurant so can't comment but will definitely come back

The first hotel that I've ever had to give a bad review for. This place is not good. The catalogue of problems ended up being quite funny, the sink plug didn't open and close properly, the shower doesn't work, the bathroom and carpet looks wrecked, the toilet flush just about works, there is a huge rip in the wallpaper, the lampshades are broken, the bed has a broken spring. Would've moved rooms but looking at reviews they are all the same. Funniest (or saddest) part was, they are replying to every comment saying that they are fixing it, but someone posted a picture of the same rip of wallpaper on a review for here 9 months ago! So definitely take that with a pinch of salt. Breakfast also cold as, but by this point I'm behind caring. Please don't make the same mistake I made in booking here, it's just a bad hotel.
