About Point A Hotels Glasgow
With the Scottish Event Campus a short trip away and plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants dotted around Bath St itself, Point A Hotels Glasgow makes a practical base for exploring the city on foot or by a quick taxi ride. It sits well for both event visitors and anyone wanting to wander into central Glasgow for an evening out.
Rooms are straightforward and comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. A 24 hour reception and luggage storage make arrival and departure flexible, which suits early starts or late finishes around the campus schedule. Showers here are a genuine strong point, and mornings start with a continental breakfast that covers gluten-free and vegan diets alongside the usual spread; a snack bar covers anything in between.
Staff are consistently helpful and the location keeps costs sensible for the city centre, though it's worth knowing that some of the more basic in-room extras are kept to a minimum. For entertainment, dining and drinking, guests need only step outside onto Bath St or head the short distance to the Scottish Event Campus.

What guests say
fantastic, welcoming stay—even in the pouring rain! We arrived on Friday to a city pouring with rain, and we were absolutely exhausted. Thankfully, the check-in process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free, which was exactly what we needed. Our rooms were clean, fresh, and very comfortable throughout our stay. We also tried the breakfast, which was decent and great value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was so welcoming and always smiling, which genuinely makes a massive difference when you're traveling. We checked out on Monday feeling rested and very happy with our choice. We will definitely be back!

Pro tip of you're planning to come: book direct and not through booking com! The rooms are kinda cute on paper, however when I visited I discovered the tables in a terrible state (magnet not holding it up, the surface plastic wrinkled and peeling), the "mood lighting" controls beeping loudly with every touch (ruining the mood), the lights not being bright enough and the white light having no warmth to it, walls plastered with instructional text and warnings, scuff marks on the walls and the toilet felt cramped (I'm 6'2/190cm), so I had to use it sitting slightly sideways. Otherwise, the continental breakfast was fine, check-in and out seamless, location great and even the "no window" rooms have a milky window into the central covered courtyard/lounge, so natural light can get in.

Well situated and for a good price relative to other hotels in the area. This is a basic hotel. Maybe a little too basic. No coffee in the room. Bed was fine but the duvet was overstuffed and could not get comfortable to sleep same problem with the pillow. Water cup was cracked and leaked,. there want even an ice machine or a way to keep ice ‘ we bought some and used a grocery bag. If you only want to sleep, you will be fine, but there wasn’t even a place to sit, save for a bare metal stool. Given that it was still in the $150 to $250 range, I would expect a bit more. There is no real lobby to sit in nor a lounge, so you can only lay on your bed or sit in aforementioned stool , of which there was only one. It was clean and centrally located, and the staff were helpful .

First of all, the staff were all great. Very helpful and kind. The location is very central, everything is within reach. We had a standard twin room, and it was small but the space was efficiently utilized and the room was clean. My only issue, and it was a big one, was the almost see through bathroom door with no locks. What is the point of a see through bathroom door? To be fair, it's not clear glass, it's made of frosted glass, but because the bathroom is so tiny, whatever you're doing inside the bathroom is visible from the outside anyway. Not to mention, if you're getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and you're switching the bathroom light on, it's lighting up the entire room for the entire duration of your bathroom visit, not only waking up your roommate momentarily, but actually keeping them awake the whole time, and potentially ruining their sleep for the rest of the night. Please replace the doors with something that's not glass, and please install some locks on the bathroom door.
