Its scale means it can offer consistent standards throughout, from spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to a lift serving every floor and accessible rooms for those who need them.

Parking is available nearby for a fee. Rates are reasonable for a city-centre stay, making this a practical base for exploring Glasgow.
What guests say
Location is perfect and breakfast was nice. We weren't able to use the check in screens as it was before 3pm but we had paid the early check in fee so the lad at the bar checked us in, he was friendly and gave us some ideas of good bars and restaurants to try. The room had a musty smell to it when first entering. The window doesn't open and there is no radiator and it was cold. It wasn't until getting into bed that it started to feel damp and everytime I moved in bed I could smell damp/musty. It wasn't over whelming but definitely there. I then start to think is it the mattress, is it damp? Is it the duvet or the pillows? It was very off putting and I didn't sleep well. I already have to put the idea I'm sleeping in something that thousands of others have slept in to the back of my mind but then I start to wonder why is it damp and smelly 🤢 we had dinner on one of the two nights we stayed in the restaurant. The two girls were pleasant enough and it was really quiet but after sitting for 20 mins and hearing them chatting away quite loudly to eachother in the breakfast area we had to go and chase our drinks we had ordered. Food was ok, its not overly expensive so it was fine for what we paid. A little bit of sitting with empty plates and considering there was only 4 other people in there the girls kept walking past and not taking plates away. Anyway, overall we paid £226 for 2 nights and 4 breakfasts with early check in. For the location alone that was a good price, but If we return to Glasgow we will probably stay somewhere else.

The customer service from staff at the hotel is amazing, in particular Colin. I phoned in advance of my trip to request a quieter room and Colin went out of his way to accommodate this. When I arrived to check in he remembered my name and the purpose of my visit and even the fact my son and husband would be visiting later in the week. This level of service continued throughout my stay, with Colin even asking if my family had enjoyed their visit when I next spoke to him several days later at the end of the trip. The hotel location is also excellent and very easy to reach from Glasgow Queen Street Station. Whilst this was a business trip for me I would definitely choose this hotel next time I am in Glasgow for leisure, based on the extremely high level of customer service from staff. Thank you Premier Inn George Square!

I am disabled with one leg above the knee. I asked for a room with a shower bench months ago and was told they would provide. Upon arrival they said they did not have one and could do nothing. In the room there was no water or phone they put me in almost the furthest room. The room had a shower only and the desk clerk would not help. I told her I had called and the said I could have a shower bench. She said we don’t have one she said you called our reception number. She said you should have called a different number. There was no water in the room she said during the water from the tap. The shower has black mold. The house keeper said the hotel would not clean it. I am trying to contact the Manager Corbin but have not been able Jim. Don’t stay here

Great location with spacious rooms and a roomy restaurant. While the food itself wasn't anything special, the restaurant prices were very reasonable. However, it did take quite a long time to arrive after ordering—thankfully, the staff handled the delay very well. The major downside, though, was what appeared to be a significant amount of black mold in the room, particularly around the windows and in the bathroom. Additionally, wall-to-wall carpeting wouldn’t be my first choice given that guests walk in with their shoes, but that is largely a matter of personal preference.
