About Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre South
Walk into a room at Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre South and you'll find the sort of straightforward comfort the chain is known for: a comfy bed, a reliable shower, and enough space to actually unpack rather than live out of a suitcase. All 123 rooms are en-suite, with accessible rooms available, and the hotel spreads across four floors served by a lift, so getting to and from your room is never a hassle.
Downstairs there's a restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals, along with 24 hour reception and drinks available in the room for those arriving late or settling in for the night. On-site parking is available for a fee, including discounted rates on enquiry at reception, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for guests driving in. Staff are on hand throughout the day to help with queries or local recommendations.
The location just south of the River Clyde puts guests within easy reach of Glasgow's city centre and its train stations, making this a practical base for events, sightseeing or business. Nearby options include pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues, with golf, fishing and horse riding also within reach for those looking to venture further out.
What guests say
Friendly, attentive staff at checkin. Very helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very clean. The towels are large and fluffy.Had 2 good meals in the restaurant. Can highly recommend the SeaBass. The kitchen went the extra mile to accommodate a gluten allergy. The breakfast was standard fare but cooked fresh and plenty of it. Located outside the LEZ but if your car doesn't comply you can't come through town to get to this particular Premier inn location.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in a family room for 4. The hotel was more expensive than normal, over £650 for the 3 nights incl. breakfast. The room had one king size bed and two single beds. The good parts first. The hotel was in a good location for where we needed to be. The room was large enough for all of us and was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bad parts. There were not enough staff present when we arrived and check-in took a long time having to wait for someone, even after ringing the bell as instructed on the reception desk. When using the bar, even though the bar was full, no member of staff stayed at the bar and everyone who wanted served had to ring and wait and when going to breakfast we had to wait to have our room number checked and then also had to wait for a table to be cleared and set. None of these are a fault of the staff working. I have seen this in a few different Premier Inn hotels and it seems, to me, that they are always just under staffed. The food at breakfast was ok, some of the cooked breakfast looked a little under cooked. The bread and pastries were also empty and had to wait for them to be refilled and this was also true of the cold drinks. We didn't stay in the hotel for any other meals.

Stayed here for 3 nights i was given one of the premier plus rooms overlooking the main road . Massive room ,fridge & decent shower ,Unfortunately the noise from rhe road ment not much sleep as the windows are useless I actually thought it wasn't shut at first . I can never understand hotels that dont install quality double glazing on rooms next to roads ? . The staff are brilliant ,all go out of there way to help but they are run ragged as not enough staff they have to go from been in reception to serving food & drinks but still manage to di with a smile . Food is of a good standard & breakfast is a serve your self buffet . The parking is pay at the machine but the staff are as confused as i was as to when you payed . I was told to pay at the end of my stay but as I went out to pay a guy from Horizon who run the parking seemed to think you should pay every day . The reception gave me there email address as they've had issues with the parking & some guess had gotten parking fines. I was told to not pay them & send to the email address for them to be cancelled . Hopefully this won't happen as its quite stressful wondering if you're going to get a parking fine . Someone at premier inn needs to get this sorted .

Great place to stay. Rooms are lovely and clean although had issues with the bathroom fan staying on all night. Staff were brilliant. Devlin and Karen on dinner were amazing, they made it such a fun evening. Breakfast was good and all staff encountered were very helpful.
