I used Glencoe for camping while doing the west highland way. Compared to every other campsite I used on the trip this was very underwhelming. The bag drop is so far away from where you pitch as is the drying room which wasn't worth the trek back up with my wet stuff, barely any information when I checked in. The tent area itself is right next to the car park and there was a motor home parked right at the corner next to it with the generator running, thank goodness for earplugs. I think if they want to appeal to campers they really need to do some market research here and give the place an overhaul as it was very disappointing. The only positive I have was breakfast in the morning at the cafe was lovely.

We paid the voluntary £5 donation to stay overnight in our motorhome in the carpark. The benefits are: amazing scenery, you're right next the the Glencoe chair lifts, which will take you and your mountain bike up the mountain, and you are parked next to the cafe/restaurant, which opens at 8am for breakfast. There are also small cabins for hire. The only downside is trying to get the motorhome level. Would definitely recommend it.

Visited in the summer to go up the ski lift for the scenic view. Didn't disappoint. Think ride supposed to be 12 minutes. I didn't time but felt probably would be. Staff all very friendly. Glad to say toilets at top were clean and to my surprise room was heated, not needed on the roasting day I visited but nice surprise.

We camped here while on the West Highland Way. Beautiful spot, the restaurant has a lot of great food. We were pleasantly surprised as they have a good few gluten free options, kitchen is small so they cannot guarantee lack of cross contamination so may not be suitable for coeliacs. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. There are glamping pods available as well, for campers there is a toilet and shower block, as well as an outside sink for washing dishes. Showers are £1 per 5 mins and staff in restaurant are happy to exchange money for coins if you ask. Highly recommend, absolutely stunning spot and well worth visiting.
