Nice park with big trees for walking. 3 different routes. Few banches. Not place for very young child, bikers, runners. Is toalet and not too big parking. Fee £1 for parking.

Lovely light walking. Great place for a short walk of under an hour. Good parking and very easy to reach from North London. Beautiful managed woodlands.

Northaw Great Wood is simply a lovely, peaceful place to enjoy walking among the trees and enjoying the countryside. There are paths criss-crossing the park but they dip and turn in pleasing ways that are quite enchanting. It's never a place that feels busy. One of the reasons for that might be that the park lacks a café. In some senses this is a disappointment but I think that it's the right decision. What it does have is a decent, and free, car park where a donation is requested along with a toilet block. So if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, with or without a dog, this is a great place to visit.

Wonderful place for country walk (with dogs!). VERY muddy, so dress accordingly! Has a decent amount of parking. Came out from London to visit friends nearby and it was such a nice treat to walk this park!
