What visitors say
Everyone here was incredibly friendly. All of the staff were very helpful upon arrival and the other campers on site were all very pleasant and often stopped for conversation. Our items felt safe and we were delighted to find out that this site offers a membership that allows access to many other sites (I think they said 700+)! We are definitely going to be returning and most definitely buying the membership too. The staff were informative about everything and the facilities were some of the nicest that I have seen. Lovely and clean toilets and showers, the laundry and dishwashing areas were great and the shop at the front had your essentials if needed. The water tap was great and also didn’t freeze overnight (an issue we have had elsewhere before). Everything was well lit and felt very safe. We came via public transport and it was very easy to get to and there were shops within walking distance too! We also saw some lovely wildlife such as muntjac deer and pheasants!

We were here in our Fiat Ducato camper van just for one night on 20 March to visit a show the following day in central London. Kevin the site manager allowed us to check in late at 21:30 and check out the following day at 19:00 by prior arrangements with Kevin. I found a phone number on google and Kevin was very friendly and helpful, the toilet and shower facilities were clean and warm with powerful hot water. It cost £10 for a taxi to Waltham Cross station and £11.29 return to Piccadilly Circus using the tap in tap out payment system with my debit card. We had a nice circular walk in the area with our dog on the Saturday morning along the New River Path and bridal paths around the Tesco sports ground and Theobalds estate. We will definitely stay here again, I think we paid £35 for the one night stop, to be in a rural area just outside of the Ulez zone and yet close to pubic transport to London I think this is a good price.

This is site is just of the M25 motorway ideally located to visit London and Harry Potter world and Chessington World adventure which we did all 3 of them. The staff Carol, Keith and Sarah are all brilliant friendly and very helpful. The facilities are spotless clean and they are new facilities. The showers where lovley and warm and the building was to. You can here the motorway from the campsite but it didn't bother us at all. Also the bonus of this site it is flat so leveling the caravan is easy. Good luck to Keith who is retiring in a couple of days. Thank you to all the staff.
