This place was perfect for breaking our long drive at the end of a holiday - just off the A1, with free street parking, reasonable price and a short walk into town for meals and groceries. The house is 300 years old, charming and not recently renovated but our room downstairs at the front of the house was very clean and we were happy with it. (Tip: request a downstairs room if you have a lot of luggage to lug up the stairs). Didn't hear the traffic at all and slept well. Stella and her Filipina friend/sister? were super kind and friendly. We had dinner at a German pub in the town, and caught glimpses of a gorgeous cathedral that we were too tired to check out. Highly recommend.

We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but the room we were given was up 2 flights of stairs in the attic. The bathroom was ridiculously small and dated. To get in the shower you had to keep the bathroom door open. The room was dated and the walls were marked and dirty stains on the curtains. We didn't stay....

Stayed one night on 30th May, cleanest hotel/B&B i,ve ever stayed in, service was above and beyond provided by the delightful lady who can't do enough for you, Highly recommended.
