Be warned the reviews and ratings are definitely not for the new owners who took over a few months ago. By far the worst place I have stayed yet. Had two rooms on separate floors one with heating and no hot water and vice versa for the other so both had to use the same shower on different floors, plus the shower gel ran out on the second shower. Walking up and stairs soaking wet through the hotel was not enjoyable.Bed was barely big enough to fit on and the pillows smelt like stair sick. Very noisy nights sleep if you get any. Was not the ideal 70th birthday treat for my mum walking up and down stairs unnecessarily as she has arthritis. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Great hotel, good value, for money made very welcome .very good breakfast , I would certainly recommend this hotel can never quite understand why people go out of their way to find something. anything to niggle about, like the person moaning about having to wait a while for their breakfast, if it was precooked they wouldn't be satisfied ,the chef was very pleasant and served us no bother at all 10 out of 10 thank you

This is a lovely hotel and we’d thoroughly recommend it. We were met with a warm friendly welcome by Martin and Tracy. Our room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Crisp fresh bed linen and towels. Silent through the night, so we slept well. You can park at the back of the hotel. Good value for money.
