Absolutely superb! Beautiful bedrooms, great showers, breakfasts fit for a king! Ample parking , what more could you want? Jenny and Jim , the owners are quite simply as good as it gets. Fun, fit and very friendly, can't do enough for you. And in case you're wondering, no I'm not a doting relation!

We had a wonderful stay at Beck Allans Guest House in Sept. 2025. The proprietors, Jenny & Jim, are the winsome couple who warmly welcomed us and cooked us lovely full English breakfasts every morning. We look forward to our return in the future. Lovely, bucolic and central location. Thanks.

Excellent. What a wonderful place to stay. Hosts Jim and Jenny were very friendly and welcoming. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional. Grasmere can get very busy; even though Beck Allans is in the village centre, this beautiful house is a quiet oasis. There's a terrace (next to the river) available for guests to sit and enjoy the peace. I'm looking forward to going back.
