About Raise View House
Raise View House is a traditional Lakeland stone property set a short, five-minute walk from the centre of Grasmere, with views across to the surrounding fells from many of its rooms. The house has five individually appointed en-suite bedrooms, and can also be booked in full on a self-catering basis for larger groups.
A hearty Lakeland breakfast is served each morning, and the property offers private parking and free wifi, both useful given the constraints of the village itself.
Its slightly quieter setting away from the main street suits guests wanting a peaceful base for walking, while still keeping Grasmere's shops, pubs and the lake shore within easy reach on foot.

What's not to like, Raise View is a very attractive stone house on the edge of the unspoilt lakeside village of Grasmere, nestled amongst the scenic fells of the south lakes. The interior is tastefully furnished and immaculately kept, the bedrooms are comfortable, ultra clean, and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, offering everything required for a short stay. Jacky is the lovely smiling face of Raise View, personable and efficient,offering an extensive range of locally sourced breakfast ingredients, our stay, as usual, was a sheer pleasure.

My son bought me and my husband a voucher for a stay at Raise View after reading such positive reviews - it didn't disappoint! A perfect location with amazing views, beautiful furnishings and Jacky is a wonderful host who cooked us a delicious breakfast. I would recommend a stay here to anyone and we hope to return again.

Stayed in September and had such a lovely time. It’s the perfect location. Jacky is wonderful and caring. Rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious. So many hiking activities right on the doorstep. The Lakes bus stop is just out front and there was pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Jacky is a wonderful friendly host and provides a fabulous breakfast. The location is excellent, just a short stroll into the village . It's also a great location for daily walks. The room was very clean and comfortable. No hesitation in recommending Raise view. Thank you Jacky.
