What visitors say
We had a great welcome from Phil, who shared a lot of useful information for our adventures. The pitch was huge and all the grounds were well maintained. The site is set well away from any roads, with fields all around, lots of wildlife with the lakes. We picked this site as it had easy access to miles of cycling routes. The cafe was open but, the days we were there no breakfasts were available. The only concern was the morning shower time as there were only 2 male and 2 female shower/toilet rooms per area, so if busy could be a waiting game if all areas were busy. Lucky for us it wasn't that busy so no problem. The shower/toilet rooms were very roomy and clean. Good showers! Overall very nice site and we will definitely be using again.

Stayed overnight on route to the caravan clubfest at Kelmarsh Hall. What a gem of a campsite. Big serviced pitches, easy access for my 8ft wide twin axle coachman caravan. Lorna was fabulous both as hostess and cook. We stated a little later in order to get a breakfast when the excellent café opened at 8.30. The food and drink was first class. In all, an excellent campsite, beautiful location and a credit to the owners. Not an area we have toured before, definitely on our list to return.

Third time at this campsite, so will be back in the future. Nice clean site, away from main road. Good size pitches. Very good Sunday dinners, lovely homemade cakes, and nice coffees.

Stopped off for a break on my motorcycle and had a latte with a cheese toastie. Wonderful service. Very friendly, welcoming and smiley. Coffee and toastie was lovely. Had them outside overlooking the lake in the late winter sunshine.
