Smile ’n’ Wave

Gorleston's beachfront location is the draw here. The sand and promenade are a five-minute walk from Smile 'n' Wave, close enough that the kids can dash back for lunch. The town centre is equally near, with shops, a supermarket and plenty of cafés and pubs. Great Yarmouth's amusements and pleasure beach are a short drive away if you want a change of scenery.

The property is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom end-of-terrace house sleeping four. Downstairs has a living room with a smart TV opening onto an enclosed courtyard garden, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a kingsize and a twin—and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included. The courtyard has seating and is fenced in, though there is a step down to it. One small dog stays free.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking proper meals, but with fish and chip shops, restaurants and waterfront cafés just outside the door, you can eat out as much or as little as you like. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.
