We went to the Bar Restaurant. We had some salad bowls and they were absolutely delicious. We came back a couple of days later and had them again, and they were there same. Polite staff and great service. We will see you again soon.

This is a review of the pub section of the hotel where I was taken for father's day last Sunday. Haven't been there for a while and the first thing that shocked me was the massive increase in prices since we last went. £20.75 for the roast I order is ridiculous (the rest of the menu prices were just as bad.) and what I received was nowhere near that value. (See photos). 3 thinly sliced, cold pieces of beef covered in Luke warm gravy (none on the rest of the meal), luke warm vegetables and nuclear hot roast spuds. The food tasted ok but the inconsistent temperatures of the food was off putting. Don't think I'll bother again especially for that money. Didn't complain at the time as I did eat it but their kitchen needs to sort itself out when plating up.

Went for food, unfortunately the “vegan burger” on the menu is automatically served with a brioche bun, honey mustard dressing and coleslaw. I had these all removed after asking what was in them but this wasn’t an automatic change. The staff were helpful with providing ingredient lists but incredibly disappointing that I could’ve been served foods I’m allergic to without a second thought

Just got home and HAD to write this review. THANK YOU, particularly Jemma & Peter for your wonderful kind, caring and attentive and professional service. Took my elderly Mum & her friend for lunch today. We were shown to our table promptly, served with drinks quickly, great care was taken to take my Mum's food order and prepare it in the only way she can eat it (dietary needs) and finding alternative ingredients. We all enjoyed the lovely ingredients in our different meals and fab desserts - and how the DELICIOUS just-right cooked food was delivered promptly and with a smile and genuine love. You kept an eye out for us checking if we needed drinks or anything else throughout our meal. WOW, didn't we have a lovely time ! We don't eat out much because we rarely get the food Mum needs and people don't seem to care. You were the opposite. Watch out we will be back, you made my Mum's day. THANK YOU again. Helen & Pam
