Lovely quaint hotel- I dont like Hilton type hotels where they all look the same. The decor was quirky but tasteful. The hosts were lovely and so helpful. Cant fault the stay at all. Went for my sister's wedding which was across the road so even better!

Fabulous night stay at Kirkcroft Guest House. We couldn’t recommend more. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. Made us feel at home. Delicious breakfast with a friendly chat. Room has everything you need and even more. Great night sleep. We are coming back! Thank you

If I could give more stars I would! Perfect little guest house, run by Chris and Tony. What a lovely couple, super helpful and really nice and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the room was beautiful, bathroom was pure luxury. So glad we stayed here and can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect! Thank you for making us so welcome and of course I need to mention the beautiful Meg.

We are a couple of pensioners travelling with a small dog that stayed at Kirkcroft for one night. The hosts are very friendly and we found the hotel easily as it's well signed. Our room was clean and tidy with a great shower which overlooked the main road but road noise isn't a problem. We both had a full english breakfast which was superb and enjoyed the company of other guests having breakfast together with the hosts joining in. There is plenty of parking at the side and rear of the property and before we left in the morning we managed a look round at the famous Blacksmith's wedding complex which was 15 minutes walk from the guest house. If we are up this way again we would definitely stay at the Kirkcroft as it's good value and well positioned for sight seeing in the area.
