Tor Hatch Cottage sits on a private drive overlooking a valley in the Surrey Hills. The cottage is your own for the duration, sleeping four across two bedrooms—a kingsize and a double—with a bathroom, separate dining room and a living room with an open fire. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, and essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue. The owner's larger grounds are available if you ask, and you have direct access to footpaths leading toward local villages and pubs. Cycling routes radiate from the cottage; both the 2012 Olympics road race and the Prudential RideLondon event ran within a mile of here. Walking and cycling make up the bulk of what people do in this part of Surrey, though you're roughly half an hour's drive from London's southern suburbs. One dog can stay with you at no extra cost. Note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage.

One of the warmest homes I’ve ever stayed in very beautiful, with a stunning view. I will definitely come back again with my family. Thank you, Emma!

I was recently offered assistance by the owner when my motorcycle broke down on his driveway. A very helpful and friendly gentleman indeed, who soon got me up and running, and followed me down the road in his car to make sure the fault had been cured. If this is the way he helps complete strangers, then his guests can expect the very best service.
