Gest Melyn is fully equipped for a self-catering break: electricity, gas central heating, bed linen and towels are all covered, plus Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine, so you can cook properly or travel light. Downstairs is an open-plan living space with dining area and Freeview TV. Upstairs, one bedroom has a superking bed and the other three singles, served by a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. You have a private car space on site and a shared garden area with seating.
Black Rock Sands beach is a fifteen-minute walk away—a wide expanse of sand where you can drive onto the beach itself, which makes it popular with families and dog walkers. The water is shallow and clear. Porthmadog harbour town is a short drive, offering shops and restaurants. Snowdonia and sites like Portmeirion and Harlech Castle are within reasonable reach if you want to explore further. The cottage sleeps up to five and one dog stays free. No smoking inside.

First time going today 12/7/26 Got to see the boat on the beach being unloaded for national grid Good clear waters and beach just keep a eye out for the jelly fish wasnt many but keep a eye on little ones helpful having the car on the beach to have everything in without walking miles to the sand to set up

Beautiful beach..soft sands and very clean. You can also drive in..felt safe cos I saw a defib and had toilets too..plenty of space for our dog Evie to run around..highly recommend!

Gorgeous beach. Huge and child friendly. Amazing white sand. Very impressive. Car parking is limited and the beach road is only accessible on foot from a certain point. The day I visited was a wet and gloomy day but I loved this beach

It's a beautiful and clean beach. Went there on the hottest day and that too on weekend when it was jam packed but the consistent police patrols made it very convenient for families to have a secure place for the kids and all to enjoy without any card drifting hazards.
